I started Bettaseal back in 2006, and my family and I moved to the Northern Rivers in 2010. We fell in love with the place straight away, the community, the lifestyle, the ocean. This became home for us.
When the 2022 storms hit, we lost our home. I know exactly what it's like to stand in your house with water pouring through your ceiling, wondering how you're going to fix this and who you can trust to help.
That experience changed everything for me. Since then, I've been helping Northern Rivers families get back on their feet, because I've been in your shoes. I understand the stress, the overwhelm, and what it means to have someone actually show up and care.

After the 2022 storms, I saw so many families struggling, not just with the damage, but with finding people they could trust to help them. Cowboys were everywhere, insurance was complicated, and people were vulnerable.
I promised myself we'd be different. We'd show up when we said we would. We'd be honest about what needed doing. We'd treat every home like our own.
That's what Bettaseal has always been about, but it means even more now. Because I've sat where you're sitting. I've had that sinking feeling when you realize your roof's compromised. I've dealt with insurance companies and tried to figure out who to trust.
